As part of Disney+ Day, new details on the next instalment in the Predator franchise has been announced. The next film is going to be called “Prey” and will be coming exclusively to Hulu in the United States and onto Disney+ internationally in the summer of 2022.

This project has been known for a while, but now it’s officially been revealed.

“Prey” is set in the world of the Comanche Nation 300 years ago, the action-thriller follows Naru, the skilled warrior who fiercely protects her tribe against a highly evolved alien predator.

The film is directed by Dan Trachtenberg, with the script written by Patrick Aison, whose producer-writer credits include the series Kingdom, Jack Ryan and Treadstone.
