Disney has announced that this year’s biggest box office hit, Pixar’s “Inside Out 2”, will soon be coming to Disney+.

“Inside Out 2” returns to the mind of newly minted teenager Riley, just as headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new Emotions! Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust aren’t sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up, and it looks like she’s not alone.

The film stars Maya Hawke, Amy Poehler, Lewis Black, Phyllis Smith, Tony Hale, Liza Lapira, Ayo Edebiri, Adèle Exarchopoulos, Paul Walter Hauser, Kensington Tallman, Lilimar, Diane Lane, Kyle MacLachlan, Sumayyah Nuriddin-Green, Grace Lu, and Yvette Nicole Brown.   It has been directed by Kelsey Mann and produced by Mark Nielsen with a screenplay by Meg LeFauve and Dave Holstein, “Inside Out 2” features a score by Andrea Datzman.

“Inside Out 2” will be coming to Disney+ on Wednesday 25th September 2024.   If you can’t wait to watch “Inside Out 2” at home, you can purchase it now on digital platforms and the original film is also available to stream on Disney+.

Roger’s Take:  It’s great to see “Inside Out 2” is heading to Disney+ later this month and it’s just over 104 days since its initial release in cinemas, which is a little quicker than I was expecting, since it’s been a juggernaut at the box office, but in line with most major recent theatrical releases.
