Percy Jackson Series In Development For Disney+
Fans of the Percy Jackson books and movies should be happy as after months of rumors, the books creator Rick Riordan took to Twitter today and confirmed that a series is in development.
It would follow the storyline of the original Percy Jackson five book series, with the first season focusing on “The Lightning Thief”.
In his announcement he said:

The first two books were made into movies by 20th Century Fox, with those movies being available on Disney+ in some regions.
The five books making up this series include “The Lightning Thief,” “The Sea of Monsters,” “The Titan’s Curse,” “The Battle of the Labyrinth,” and “The Last Olympian.”
While the Disney+ series looks to be in the early stages, this news will no doubt be a huge success for Disney+.
