Owen Wilson Teases Marvel’s “Loki” Season 2 Disney+ Release Window
With so many reports of major delays to the upcoming Marvel Studios schedule, many fans have been wanting to know when the second season of “Loki” will arrive on Disney+. At last year’s San Diego Comic-Con, it was revealed that that series would hit our screens in June 2023. However, since then, that date has become less likely.
Recently, during a premiere of the upcoming film, “Paint”, Entertainment Tonight spoke with the star of the film, Owen Wilson, and asked him about the upcoming second season of the Marvel Studios series, “Loki”, where he revealed when the series might be hitting Disney+.
I think that’s coming out end of the summer or September.
With Disney planning on spacing out its shows and films more, pushing back “Loki” to the end of the summer or into September, would likely allow for “Secret Invasion” to hit Disney+ during the early part of the summer.
Owen Wilson also shared his excitement about working with Oscar-winner Ke Huy Quan joining the cast.
“I know. It’s so exciting. That was incredible. Every time I saw him winning something, it was another speech that just kind of was a tearjerker that was so moving. And even when we were working on this last summer — I think his character that he plays in Loki season two — I think people will be excited, even though that was so great, obviously, the character that he won an Oscar, for I think people are going to love his character in this.”
While we wait for the second season of “Loki”, you can catch the first season now on Disney+.
