Disney has announced that a new trailer for the third season of “Star Wars: The Mandalorian” will be shown during halftime of the Super Wild Card American Football game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, which will be shown on ESPN, ABC, ESPN2, ESPN+ and ESPN Deportes, on January 16th at 8 p.m. ET.

The journeys of the Mandalorian through the Star Wars galaxy continue. Once a lone bounty hunter, Din Djarin has reunited with Grogu. Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy away from its dark history. The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together.

The new series is being executive produced by Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni and Rick Famuyiwa.  The third season stars Pedro Pascal, Katee Sackhoff, Amy Sedaris, Giancarlo Esposito, and Emily Swallow. Katheleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson also executive produce, with Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck as co-executive producers.

A trailer for the third season was previously released at the D23 Expo event in September.

The third season of “The Mandalorian” will be streaming on Disney+ on March 1st 2023, with new episodes being released weekly.  The first two seasons, along with the spin-off series, “The Book Of Boba Fett”, are available to stream now on Disney+.
