After being rumored for month, it was finally confirmed during the Disney+ Showcase at the D23 Expo, it was announced that a series featuring the Muppets, called “Muppets Now”.

Forty years after leaving the swamp in his big screen debut in “The Muppet Movie,” Kermit the Frog is heading upstream with Miss Piggy, and the gang, bringing a new kind of mayhem and laughter to Disney+ with their first-ever unscripted short-form series, “Muppets Now.”

The Muppets then shared the following letter from Kermit on social media:

This new series will be coming to Disney+ in 2020 and is a seperate project to the upcoming movie featuring Josh Gad.
