More Episodes Of Abbott Elementary – Season 3 – Coming Soon To Disney+ (UK/Ireland)
Last month, Disney released the first batch of new episodes from the third season of “Abbott Elementary” on Disney+ in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Disney has announced that the remaining new episodes of the third season of the award-winning comedy series will be coming to Disney+ in the United Kingdom and Ireland on Wednesday 10th July, 2024.
In this workplace comedy, a group of dedicated, passionate teachers — and a slightly tone-deaf principal — are brought together in a Philadelphia public school where, despite the odds stacked against them, they are determined to help their students succeed in life. Though these incredible educators may be outnumbered and underfunded, they love what they do — even if they don’t love the school district’s less-than-stellar attitude toward educating children.
The new episodes heading to Disney+ in July include:
- Librarian – Janine spearheads a pilot program that brings a librarian to Abbott; Melissa and Jacob deal with some big changes at home.
- Panel – Ava and Gregory are invited to speak on a panel about public schools, while the other teachers must complete CPR training; Janine faces challenges securing district approval for her librarian extension program.
- Alex – Jacob is shocked when he finds out his colleagues are not invested in his frequent email messages and haven’t even been writing their own replies; Gregory turns to Janine for help with a former student.
- 2 Ava 2 Fest – Ava Fest is back, and with the help of the teachers, Ava’s set on outdoing last year by any means necessary; after Janine accepts the offer for a position at the district, she just has to check off one last thing to make it official.
- Double Date – Two teachers head out on a double date, but when they run into familiar bar patrons, it proves to be a distraction; at Ava’s first book club meeting, the group ends up in a debate over who would be the best post-apocalyptic leader.
- Mother’s Day – Barbara invites Gregory to her family’s Mother’s Day brunch; Jacob scrambles to figure out how to organize a school field trip.
- Smith Playground – Jacob manages to pull off a school-wide field trip to the park, but when Abbott must share the playground, the fun and games turn competitive; Mr. Johnson enjoys having an empty school to himself.
- Party – Ahead of summer vacation, Janine throws the perfect end-of-year party for her colleagues and friends, taking all their interests into consideration.
Quinta Brunson, Emmy Award winner for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, created the series and stars as Janine Teagues. Brunson, alongside Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker of Delicious Non-Sequitur Productions, Randall Einhorn and Brian Rubenstein serve as executive producers. In addition to Brunson, the cast includes Tyler James Williams as Gregory Eddie, Janelle James as Ava Coleman, Lisa Ann Walter as Melissa Schemmenti, Chris Perfetti as Jacob Hill, William Stanford Davis as Mr. Johnson, and Emmy Award winner Sheryl Lee Ralph as Barbara Howard.
The series is currently airing on ABC and Hulu/Hulu On Disney+ in the United States, but due to the writer’s and actor’s strike, the latest season is shorter than previous seasons.
The first two seasons, along with the first six episodes of the third season of “Abbott Elementary” are available to stream on Disney+ now, and recently, the show was renewed for a fourth season.
