During last months Investor Day, Disney officially announced it was creating a remake of the classic 80’s Touchstone Pictures comedy film, “Three Men And A Baby”.

The new film will star Zac Efron and is slated for a 2022 release on Disney+.

According to Deadline, Mo Marable has signed onto direct the film, who has previously directed many shows including Hulu’s “Woke, along with “Brockmire” and “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”.  He will soon be directing episodes of “The Dropout” and “The Old Man”, both of which will be available on Hulu in the US and on Disney+ internationally.

The film’s script has been written by Will Reichel, who has previously worked on “Hot Air”.  Gordon Gray will be producing the film; he has previously worked on many films for Disney including “Secretariat”, “Miracle”, and “Million Dollar Arm”.

The current synopsis for the film is very similar to the original film, which you’ll find on Disney+:

“Life for an NYC bachelor and his two single friends is hilariously turned upside down when a girlfriend dumps a baby in his lap and disappears from his life forever.”

Are you looking forward to seeing “Three Men And A Baby” on Disney+?
