Milo Ventimiglia To Star In 20th TV’s “The Company You Keep” Pilot
20th Television is developing a new series called “The Company You Keep”, that is based on the Korean series, “My Fellow Citizens” and will star “This Is Us” star, Milo Ventimiglia, who will also be an executive producer on the series.
The series is about what happens when a night of passion leads to love between con-man Charlie (Ventimiglia) and undercover CIA officer Emma, who are unknowingly on a collision course professionally. While Charlie ramps up the ‘family business’ so he can get out for good, Emma’s closing in on the vengeful criminal who holds Charlie’s family debts in-hand — forcing them to reckon with the lies they’ve told so they can save themselves and their families from disastrous consequences.”
It is being written by Julia Cohen, who has previously worked on “Riverdale”, “The Royals” and “A Million Little Things”. She will also be an executive producer alongside Russ Cundiff. Jon M. Chu, Todd Harthan, Caitlin Foito and Lindsay Goffman. Deanna Harris will produce the series.
ABC has given the project a formal pilot order. Should the pilot be picked up for a series, we should expect to see it released on Hulu and ABC in the US and as a Star Original on Disney+ internationally.
