Mia Goth To Star In “Star Wars: Starfighter”
Earlier this year at the Star Wars Celebration event in Japan, Disney officially announced that a brand new film called “Star Wars: Starfighter” will be coming out in 2027.
The new movie will be directed by Shawn Levy and starring Ryan Gosling, is a standalone adventure set approximately five years after the events of 2019’s “Star Wars: Episode IX—The Rise of Skywalker.”
The InSneider has reported that Mia Goth has joined the cast of the upcoming Star Wars film and will apparently be playing a villain. She has previously starred in “MaXXXine” and “Pearl”. She will also be starring in the upcoming movies, Guillermo del Toro’s “Frankenstein” and Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey”.
“Star Wars: Starfighter” will begin production this Fall, features all-new characters set in a period of time that has not been explored on screen yet.
Shawn Levy is a director and producer of films and television series, including the recent Marvel hit “Deadpool & Wolverine”, 20th Century’s “Free Guy” and Netflix’s “Stranger Things”. Jonathan Tropper has written the script.
“Star Wars: Starfighter” will open exclusively in theatres on May 28th, 2027, and it will be coming to Disney+ later in the year.
