Disney has released a brand new trailer for the upcoming Marvel Studios film, “The Fantastic Four: First Steps”, which has given us a clearer idea of what the film’s going to be about, with the first look at the Silver Surfer and much more.

The trailer showcases Marvel’s First Family, H.E.R.B.I.E. andthe retro-futuristic, 1960s vibe of this new film, which opens in cinemas on July 25th 2025, before coming to Disney+ later in the year following its theatrical run.

“The Fantastic Four: First Steps” introduces Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm/Human Torch Joseph Quinn) and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as they face their most daunting challenge yet. Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). And if Galactus’ plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren’t bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal.

Check out the trailer below:

The action adventure also stars Paul Walter Hauser, John Malkovich, Natasha Lyonne and Sarah Niles. “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” is directed by Matt Shakman, produced by Kevin Feige and executive produced by Louis D’Esposito, Grant Curtis and Tim Lewis.

Roger’s Take: This trailer has really helped set up the main story of the movie, with the Silver Surfer heading to Earth to give them a warning that Galactus is on the way, but also mixing it up with Reed and Sue being pregnant to give the story more emotion. It’s also great to see something a little fresh within the MCU, since its set in a different multiverse and thus has a completely different look. I’m really looking forward to watching this one.
