Lindsay Lohan To Star In Hulu’s “Count My Lies”
20th Television is developing a brand new drama series called “Count My Lies” for Hulu, which is based on the debut novel of Sophie Stava and tells the story of Sloane Caraway, who is a compulsive liar and she manages to fibs her way into a nanny position for the gorgeous and charismatic Violet and Jay Lockhart, it seems she’s finally landed her dream job. But little does Sloane know, she’s just entered a household brimming with secrets that are about to explode — with potentially catastrophic consequences for all.
The upcoming show will be executive produced by former “This Is Us” executive producers/co-showrunners Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger. They have also teamed up with 20th Television on a number of porjects including “Love, Victor” and “How I Met Your Father”.
According to Deadline, Lindsay Lohan is going to be starring in the upcoming series and is expected to play the role of Violet. Lindsay will also be an executive producer, along with Sophie Stava and Scott Morgan of The Walk-Up Company.
Later this year, Lindsay Lohan will be returning to screens in “Freakier Friday”, which is a sequel to her smash hit Disney film, “Freaky Friday”. She has also previously worked with Disney on “Get A Clue”, “Confessions Of A Teenage Drama Queen” and “Herbie”. Plus she has starred in the ABC series, “Ugly Betty”.
No other details on the upcoming series have been revealed, such as who else is starring in the show, when it will be released nor who will be directing. As with other Hulu originals, expect it to be released on Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and as a Star Original on Disney+ internationally.
