Marvel’s “Fantastic Four” Film Writers Replaced
It’s been years since Marvel Studios announced that it was going to be making a new film bringing Marvel’s first family, the “Fantastic Four”, into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, after years of being under the control of 20th Century Fox, who released three films featuring Mr Fantastic, Invisible Woman, The Thing and the Human Torch.
Since then, Marvel has announced that the film is going to be released in cinemas on February 14th 2025 and is going to be directed by Matt Shakman.
It has previously been revealed that Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer were writing the script for the film. The pair previously worked on “Bert and Arnie’s Guide to Friendship“, “Disaster Wedding”, and “K-Pop: Lost in America”.
THR has reported that Josh Friedman is taking over the role of the writer of “Fantastic Four”. Josh has previously worked on “Avatar: The Way Of Water”, “Terminator: Dark Fate”, “Chain Reaction”, “War Of The Worlds”, and “Snowpiercer”.
This is the second big shake-up of writers for upcoming Marvel films this week, as it was revealed that “Beef” creator Lee Sung Jin has now been brought in to take over writing the “Thunderbolts”.
