The 34th annual GLAAD Media Awards took place in Beverly Hills on Thursday, and it was hosted by Emmy- and Grammy-nominated comedian and actress Margaret Cho.

Disney picked up a number of awards during the event, with the FX series, “What We Do In The Shadows” winning the Outstanding Comedy Series and the 20th Television series, “9-1-1: Lone Star”, picking up the Outstanding Drama Series award.

The Disney+ Original series, “Dancing With The Stars”, picked up the award for Outstanding Reality Program – Competition.  And the Disney Junior series, “Dino Ranch”, won the Outstanding Children’s Programming award.

  • Outstanding Magazine Overall Coverage: The Advocate
  • Outstanding Reality Program – Competition – Dancing with the Stars (Disney+)
  • Outstanding Spanish-Language Scripted Television Series: Los Espookys (HBO)
  • Outstanding Spanish-Language TV Journalism: “Vico Ortiz” Primer Impacto (Univision)

The GLAAD Media Awards will premiere on Hulu on Wednesday, April 12th, 2023. Remaining winners for select categories will be announced at GLAAD’s New York Ceremony on Saturday, May 13th 2023.
