Marvel Makes A Weird Change To The “Thunderbolts” Title
One of the many Marvel Studios Projects currently being filmed is “Thunderbolts” in Atlanta, Georgia, which is a new team film that brings together many of the anti-hero characters from previous films and Disney+ shows to help save the world.
The cast includes Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, along with Sebastian Stan as Winter Soldier, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Wyatt Russell as US Agent, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost and Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster.
Marvel has already been setting up the “Thunderbolts” movie, following some post-credit scenes of Valentina Allegra de Fontaine putting together the team. This is going to be Marvel’s equivalent to DC’s “Suicide Squad.”
During a special Walt Disney Studios presentation at CinemaCon at the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige gave a very small update on the upcoming “Thunderbolts” film.
They also showed a video of Florence Pugh talking about them filming the upcoming film and informing those in attendance that she was eating Mac & Cheese with spicy sauce.
While very little was revealed about “Thunderbolts”, since the focus was more on “Deadpool & Wolverine” and “Captain America: Brave New World”, a new logo for the film was revealed.
This new logo is more simple, just a basic font, but there is also an asterisk at the end of the title name, and Kevin Feige teased that this is important
Yes, you’ll notice the asterisk on Thunderbolts. That is the official title of Thunderbolts and we won’t talk more about that until after the movie comes out.
No doubt, this change has opened the floor to fan theories about what that asterisk could mean. Is the title change just temporary until some of the next movies have been released, and they don’t want to spoil something? Or does the film have a completely different name that they aren’t ready to reveal?
