During a Marvel panel at the New York Comic Con, Disney officially revealed that the upcoming series, “Daredevil: Born Again”, will premiere on Disney+ on Tuesday 4th March 2025.

The upcoming series will see the adventures of Daredevil, aka Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer with heightened abilities, and his arch-nemesis, Wilson Fisk, who’s pursuing his own political endeavours in New York.

“Daredevil: Born Again” will continue the original Netflix series and see Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, and Jon Bernthal return as Daredevil, Kingpin, Karen, Foggy, and The Punisher. 

During the “Marvel Fanfare with C.B. Cebulski” panel today, series producer and Marvel Studios production and development executive Sana Amanat joined Marvel Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski on stage to talk about Marvel’s long history of New York storytelling, and shooting season one of Marvel Television’s “Daredevil: Born Again” on location in the city.

She then invited stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrioout to join her, to the great excitement of the audience. While there, they shared a special sneak peek and Disney+ release date for the hotly anticipated upcoming series.

After the panel, the stars stopped by the Marvel Booth on the Javits show floor to talk with the fans assembled for Marvel’s Cosplay Competition.

Currently, Disney hasn’t released too much information on the upcoming plot of the new series, which has previously gone through some major rewrites and a change in creative.

Dario Scardapane is head writer and showrunner; episodes are directed by Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead, Michael Cuesta, Jeffrey Nachmanoff and David Boyd.

Roger’s Take:  With nearly six months until the release of “Daredevil: Born Again”, it’s still a way off, but it also now means we’ve got a rough schedule for the next six or so months for major Disney+ Original shows.  I can’t wait to see the return of Daredevil and it does seem like Marvel is getting the hype train underway already!
