“Malcolm In The Middle: Life’s Still Unfair” Teaser Trailer Released

Disney has released the first look teaser trailer for the upcoming revival of the hit comedy series, “Malcolm In The Middle”, which will be returning in 2026 with a special four-part series called “Malcolm In The Middle: Life’s Still Unfair”.

The original “Malcolm in the Middle” saw young genius Malcolm trying to navigate life with his quirky, often difficult family. In these brand-new episodes, Malcolm and his daughter are drawn into the family’s chaos when Hal and Lois demand his presence for their 40th wedding anniversary party.

Many of the cast of the original series, including Frankie Muniz, Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek, will be returning for the new series, along with Chris Kennedy Masterson, Justin Berfield and Emy Coligado.   Caleb Ellsworth-Clark is taking over the role of Dewey. There will also be some new cast joining the show, including Keeley Karsten, Vaughan Murrae and Kiana Madeira.

Linwood Boomer created the original series and returns as writer and executive producer. Bryan Cranston, Tracy Katsky (KatCo), Gail Berman and New Regency’s Arnon Milchan, Yariv Milchan and Natalie Lehmann are executive producers. Ken Kwapis will direct all four episodes and executive-produce. Jimmy Simons and Laura Delahaye are co-executive producers. The limited series is produced by 20th Television, a part of Disney Television Studios, and New Regency.

The new series will premiere on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ internationally on April 10th 2026.  The original series is also available to stream now on Disney+.

Roger’s Take: The teaser trailer does a great job in bringing everyone up to date with the situation with the family and why the reunion is happening, but more importantly, that chaos is about to take over Malcolm’s life once again.
