Disney has announced that “Love, Rosie” is going to be released on Disney+ in the United Kingdom and Ireland on Friday 9th February 2024.

The film tells the story of Rosie, who has been the best friend of Alex, since the moment they met when they were five years old. Together they’ve faced the highs and lows of growing up side by side. A fleeting shared moment, one missed opportunity, and the decisions that follow send their lives in completely different directions. As each navigates the complexities of life, love, and everything in between, they always find their way back to each other – but is it just friendship, or something more? Based on Cecelia Ahern’s bestselling novel, LOVE, ROSIE is a heart-warming, modern comedy-of-errors posing the ultimate question: do we really only get one shot at true love?

“Love, Rosie” stars Lily Collins, Sam Claflin, Suki Waterhouse, Jaime Winstone, Christian Cooke, and Jamie Beamish.

This is the latest Lionsgate film to be released on Disney+ in the UK as part of a larger licensing deal to provide Disney+ with more British content, which helps the streaming service appeal to British subscribers and also helps comply with European rules that require a certain amount of content to be created within the region.

As with all licensed content, it’s unknown how long “Love, Rosie” will be available on Disney+.
