Filming is currently underway on the new Marvel Studios film is “Captain America: New World Order”, which is currently scheduled to arrive in cinemas on May 3rd 2024 and will star Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, who became the new Captain America in the Disney+ series, “The Falcon And The Winter Soldier”. It will also star Danny Ramirez, Xosha Roquemore, Carl Lumbly, and Shira Haas.

Back at the D23 Expo, it was revealed that the film is going to see Tim Black Nelson returning as “The Leader”, who we last saw in “The Incredible Hulk” film, which was the second film in the MCU and released in 2008. And we will also see Harrison Ford taking over the role of General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, who the late William Hurt previously portrayed.

And now, according to Deadline, Liv Tyler, will also be returning as Betty Ross, who was also last seen in “The Incredible Hulk” film. Betty Ross is also the daughter of General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross and the love interest of Bruce Banner aka The Hulk.

Liv Tyler has previously starred in the “Lord Of The Rings” films, in addition to “Ad Astra” and the 20th Television series, “9-1-1: Lone Star”.

The upcoming instalment in the “Captain America” franchise is going to be directed by Julius Onah, who has previously worked on “The Cloverfield Paradox”. The film is based on a script by Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson, who have previously worked on “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier”.
