Disney has announced details on a brand-new Korean Original series called “Hyper Knife”, which is a medical crime thriller that tells the story of fierce battle and growth of two crazy geniuses as Doctor Se Ok, who once had a promising past, and her mentor Deok Hee, who caused her to hit rock bottom, reunite.

This new series is going to star Park Eun Bin as Jeong Se Ok, a former brilliant doctor who now works as a shadow doctor in an underground surgery clinic. After being expelled by her only mentor Choi Deok Hee, Jeong Se Ok will experience intense emotional shifts when she reunites with him.  Park Eun Bin has previously starred in “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” and “Castaway Diva”.

Sol Kyung Gu is going to be starring in the show as Choi Deok Hee, a world-renowned neurosurgeon who expelled his former protégé Jeong Se Ok from the hospital. Despite his global reputation, Deok Hee has a hidden side that few know about. Sol Kyung Gu is set to command attention with his unique charisma as he brings to life the intense conflict between Deok Hee and Se Ok, who is pushed to the brink and ultimately confronts him once more.  Sol Kyung Gu has previously starred in “Hope” and “Kingmaker”.

Also starring in the new series is Yoon Chan Young, who is playing Seo Young Joo, a close associate who acts as a guardian for Se Ok, always supporting and protecting her.  Yoon Chan Young has previously starred in “All of Us Are Dead”.

“Park Byung Eun” will be playing the role of Han Hyun Ho, an anesthesiologist who admires Se Ok’s genius and helps her continue performing surgeries.  Park Byung Eun has previously starred in “Eve” and “Kingdom: Ashin of the North”.

“Hyper Knife” will be coming out in 2025 on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ around the world.
