Disney is hosting a world premiere of the upcoming Disney+ Original special, “Idina Menzel: Which Way to the Stage?”, which will be taking place on Sunday 13th November 2022 12:00 PM at the SVA Theatre in New York City.

In this special, beloved Tony Award-winning actress and singer Idina Menzel’s many triumphs include iconic Broadway roles in productions of “Rent” and “Wicked” as well as the legendary voice of Elsa in Disney’s “Frozen.” Yet one dream goal has evaded her grasp: to headline a concert at the world-famous Madison Square Garden in her hometown of New York City. Filmmaker Anne McCabe follows Menzel on a national tour over the course of 16 shows as she juggles the challenges of being a working mom with a gruelling travel schedule, all preparing to finally realize her dream.

The first screening will be followed by a Q&A with Anne McCabe, Idina Menzel, Rachel Cohen.

In-person tickets for this special event will be priced at $19each  for general admission and $17 each for seniors and children.  You can also watch this special at home before it arrives on Disney+ as there will be online screenings of this special available from Monday 14th November through to Sunday, 27th November 2022.  An online viewing ticket is priced at $12, but it’s only available to stream early through Doc NYC’s website in the US and in the US territories.

“Idina Menzel: Which Way to the Stage?” is coming to Disney+ around the world on December 9th 2022.
