Disney has announced that all eight seasons of the hit ABC comedy series, “Who’s The Boss” is now available to stream on Hulu.

This classic eighties sitcom tells the story of what happens when an ex-Major League baseball player’s career is cut short by injuries, and he goes to work as a live-in housekeeper for a high-powered advertising executive and single mom.

The series initially launched on ABC in September 1984 and ran for 196 episodes, until the finale aired on April 25th, 1992.   The series is distributed by Sony Television.  It’s not been announced if this series will also be made available on Disney+ internationally.

“Who’s The Boss” stars Tony Danza, Judith Light, Alyssa Milano, Danny Pintauro and Katherine Helmond.

The series was nominated for over forty awards, including Golden Globes and Primetime Emmys. It was praised for its humour, characters, and depiction of a blended family.  Throughout the series, the show also dealt with several social issues, such as gender roles, single parenting, and dating. The series was groundbreaking at the time due to its portrayal of a single father raising a daughter, and it is credited with helping change how society viewed men’s roles in the home.

This is the latest classic series to be added to Hulu over the past months, following the addition of “LA Law” and “Moonlighting“.
