Last year it was revealed that Disney was prepping the classic 1980s sitcom for a streaming release and today, Disney has announced that the for the very first time, all 67 episodes of the classic 1980s sitcom, “Moonlighting,” are going to be coming to Hulu on October 10th 2023.

The series is about what happens when a former fashion model Maddie Hayes goes broke and finds that one of her few remaining assets is ownership of the Blue Moon Detective Agency, she’s tempted to liquidate it until she meets the quirky employees and gets involved in their even quirkier cases.

“Moonlighting” stars Cybill Shepherd, Bruce Willis, Allyce Beasley, and Curtis Armstrong. It ran for five seasons and was originally released on ABC.

The show will be available to stream, complete with the original Grammy-nominated title track recording by Al Jarreau. Each classic episode has been remastered in HD from the original film source. No international Disney+ release has been announced, but with all the costs of remastering the show, expect it to follow at a later date.
