Hailee Steinfeld & Rashida Jones Join Disney’s “Hexed” Cast

During the Walt Disney Studios Showcase panel at this year’s CinemaCon event in Las Vegas, Disney revealed new details on the upcoming original animated film, “Hexed”.

It was revealed that Hailee Steinfeld and Rashida Jones have joined the voice cast of the all-new magical coming-of-age saga. Hailee has previously worked with Disney on the hit Disney+ original series, “Hawkeye”, and also plays Gwen Stacey in the “Across the Spider-Verse” animated films. Rashida has previously starred in the Hulu original film, “In The Blink Of An Eye” and has also starred in the hit shows, “The Office”.

In “Hexed,” an impulsive and unconventional teenage girl named Billie (voice of Hailee Steinfeld) discovers secret magical abilities which, once unleashed, hurtle her into a spectacle-filled journey out of suburbia and into a vast witch realm called Hexe. Forced to team up with her cautious mother, Alice (voice of Rashida Jones), they uncover family mysteries that could change the world of witches forever.

It has been directed by Fawn Veerasunthorn and Jason Hand, co-directed by Josie Trinidad, and produced by Roy Conli.
