FOX has released a new extended trailer for the upcoming original comedy-drama series, “Going Dutch”, which follows an arrogant, loudmouth U.S. Army “Colonel Patrick Quinn”, who, after an epically unfiltered rant, is reassigned to the Netherlands, where he is punished with a command position at the least important army base in the world. After serving with distinction in every warzone over the last three decades, he now finds himself in charge of a base with no guns, no weapons and no tactical purpose.

Instead, it has a Michelin Star-level commissary, top-notch bowling alley, lavender-infused laundry and the best (and only) fromagerie in the U.S. Army. Surrounded by a diverse group of military misfits, the colonel tries to reinstate discipline and professionalism with the help of the base’s previous interim leader, who just happens to be his estranged daughter.

“Going Dutch” stars Denis Leary and Taylor Misiak, along with Danny Pudi, Laci Mosely and Hal Cumpston. Joe Morton, Catherine Tate and Dempsey Bryk are featured in heavily recurring roles.

Check out the extended trailer below:

The single-camera comedy is wholly owned by FOX Entertainment and is an outgrowth of Leary’s broadcast direct deal with the company. The new series comes from FOX Entertainment Studios, writer/executive producer/showrunner Joel Church-Cooper (Brockmire) and executive producers Denis Leary and Jack Leary (Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll) through their production company Amoeba. Going Dutch is produced by FOX Entertainment Studios.

“Going Dutch” will premiere on Thursday 2nd January 2025 on FOX and it will be available the next day on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+. The series is distributed by FOX Entertainment Global and due to the multi-year licensing deal, will be available on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States.
