Disney has released a new video highlighting some of the new original programming coming from FX to Hulu and Disney+ over the Spring and Summer.
The new video gives us a third look at the upcoming shows, “Dying For Sex”, “Adults” and “Alien: Earth”, along with a first look at the fourth season of “The Bear”. These shows will be available on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ internationally.
Check out the FX teaser trailer below:
“Alien Earth” tells the story of what happens when a mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earth, a young woman and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet’s greatest threat in the sci-fi horror series “Alien: Earth.” As members of the crash recovery crew search for survivors among the wreckage, they encounter mysterious predatory life forms more terrifying than they could have ever imagined. With this new threat unlocked, the search crew must fight for survival, and what they choose to do with this discovery could change planet Earth as they know it. The show will be available on Hulu and Disney+ this summer.
FX’s “Dying for Sex” is a new eight-episode limited series will premiere on Friday, 4th April 2025, on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the U.S and on Disney+ internationally. The show is inspired by the story of Molly Kochan, originally shared on a Wondery podcast created with her best friend, Nikki Boyer. After Molly (Michelle Williams) receives a diagnosis of Stage IV metastatic breast cancer, she decides to leave her husband, Steve and begins to explore the full breadth and complexity of her sexual desires for the first time in her life.
“Adults” is about a twenty-something ensemble comedy centering on codependent housemates navigating adulthood together despite their flaws.
The fourth season of “The Bear” is about food, family, and the insanity of the grind. It’s a losing battle every day in the restaurant business, and as Carmy pushes himself harder than ever and demands excellence from his crew, they do their best to match his intensity. Their quest for culinary excellence propels them to new levels and stresses the bonds that hold the restaurant together.
Roger’s Take: FX delivers some of the best original programming for Hulu and Disney+, I’m really excited to see what they do with “Alien: Earth”, plus “The Bear” has been one of my favourite shows. They might not release a huge amount of programming each year, but what FX does put out, is usually very high quality!
