Following on from this weeks news that Hailee Steinfield and Florence Pugh are starring in the upcoming Marvel Studios “Hawkeye” series for Disney+, Variety has also revealed that the show is also going to feature Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Alaqua Cox, and Zahn McClarnon.

The new series will see Jeremy Renner return as “Hawkeye” and will be training his replacement, Kate Bishop, who is being played by Hailee Steinfield.  Florence Pugh will be making her debut as Yelena Belova in “Black Widow”, which is due to hit cinemas next year.

Vera Farmiga will be playing Kate Bishop’s mum, Eleanor.  She has previously starred in “The Conjuring” and “Bates Motel”.

Fra Fee will be playing Kazi the Clown, who is a villain from the Hawkeye comic books.  He has previously starred in “Les Misérables”.

Tony Dalton will be playing Jack Duquesne, who is known as the “Swordsman” and helped train “Hawkeye”, the character has been both a hero and a villain.  Tony has previously starred in “Better Call Saul”.

Maya Lopez will be playing Echo, who is a deaf Native American superhero, who can mimic other people’s moves. This will be Maya’s first on-screen role.

And finally, Zahn McClarnon will be playing Echo’s father, William Lopez. He has previously starred in the Disney+ Original movie, Togo.

No release date has yet been announced for the Disney+ series and filming is currently underway in New York.
