First Look At “Only Murders In The Building” Season 5
Disney’s 20th Television is currently in production of the fifth season of “Only Murders In The Building” in New York City, which sees Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez return as the podcasters who share an obsession with true crime and suddenly find themselves wrapped up in multiple murders.
Disney has released a brand new photo from the set, giving us a first look at some of the new guest stars in the fifth season, including Renée Zellweger, Christoph Waltz, and Logan Lerman. Production is currently underway in New York.
Also set to star in the show will be Keegan-Michael Key, Téa Leoni, and Michael Cyril Creighton. Much like the previous seasons, the fifth season will also consist of ten episodes.
Deadline has also revealed that Jermaine Fowler has been joined the show in a recurring role in the fifrth season. Jermaine has previously starred in Amazon Prime Video’s “Ricky Stanicky” and FX’s “A Murder at the End of the World”.
“Only Murders in the Building” hails from co-creators and writers Steve Martin and John Hoffman (“Grace & Frankie,” “Looking”). Season four executive producers include John Hoffman, Steve Martin, Martin Short, Selena Gomez, Dan Fogelman and Jess Rosenthal. The series has been consistently well-received by critics and season four is Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes at 97%. Season three garnered 21 Emmy nominations, the show’s highest number of Emmy nominations to date.
The fifth season will premiere later this year on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ internationally. The previous four seasons of the show are available on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ internationally.
