Earlier this year, Disney’s Freeform released a brand new comedy series called, “Everything’s Trash”, which was written, executive produced and stars, Phoebe Robinson and is inspired by her bestselling book “Everything’s Trash, But It’s Okay”. The series also stars Jordan Carlos, Toccarra Cash, Nneka Okafor and Moses Storm.

“Everything’s Trash” follows Phoebe, a 30-something podcast star navigating her messy life. Forced to grow up when her older brother Jayden emerges as a leading political candidate, she relies on her friends and close-knit family to help her figure out adulthood.

Deadline has revealed that Freeform has cancelled the series, and it won’t be returning for a second season. The series aired originally on the Freeform channel and was also released on Hulu, which is where the majority of viewers watched the show. “Everything’s Trash” was also released internationally on Disney+ as a Star Original.

Everything’s Trash was produced by ABC Signature with Robinson’s production company, Tiny Reparations, led by Jose Acevedo, serving as an executive producer. Jonathan Groff also executive produced. Co-executive producer Chioke Nassor directed.

The entire first season is currently available to stream on Hulu in the United States and on Disney+ internationally. Recently, Disney has been removing cancelled shows from its streaming services around the world, so if you haven’t already watched this show, it might be prudent to watch the series as soon as possible, just encase the show is removed.

What do you think of “Everything’s Trash” being cancelled?
