“Donna Hay Coastal Celebrations” Coming Soon To Disney+

Disney has announced a brand new Australian original series called “Donna Hay Coastal Celebrations”, which will be coming to Disney+ soon.

In the four-part series, renowned food stylist and cookbook author Donna Hay hosts a collection of sunny celebrations by the sea, styling and cooking delicious food in stunning locations. With Sydney’s sparkling harbour as the backdrop, Donna shares her effortless entertaining tips, offering a sneak peek into planning the perfect celebration for any occasion – from a long lunch at her home, to a seaside garden party, hosting at the local sailing club, and a tropical-themed girls’ lunch to remember.

Finding inspiration in her own cupboards and garden, as well as the surrounding coastline, Donna styles beautiful tablescapes. Using fresh, seasonal produce, she creates simple yet stunning dishes, putting a modern spin to classics like fish and chips, tomato bruschetta and creamy pistachio semifreddo – alongside cool drinks, generous snacks and small surprises that come together to create a memorable day.

The series is directed by long-time collaborator Benjamin Jones, and produced by Donna Hay Productions for Disney+, with Donna Hay as host and producer.

Here are the episode details for this series:

Episode 1 – Sundays at home
Donna invites us into her beachside home for a long lunch to remember. Inspired by her favourite vintage plates and cutlery, she finds ways to give them a sunny new life. Using only the best ingredients, Donna elevates the everyday with simple flavour tricks, finishing with a chocolate surprise.
Episode 2 – A Long Lunch by the Harbour
Donna shows us how to prepare a simple DIY drinks station at a beautiful beachside garden party. She creates a striking floral centrepiece and puts a fresh spin on some classics, before preparing some special edible take-home gifts for everyone.
Episode 3 – Sailing into the Sun
Down at her local sailing club, Donna is hosting the ultimate neighbourhood lunch, treating friends and family to her favourite summer plates. Turning to the surrounding coastline for inspiration, she shares some clever styling tips to create a memorable tablescape.
Episode 4 – Sunshine, Friends and Food
Finding inspiration in the vintage treasures hiding in her cupboards, Donna styles a tropical-themed beach party for the girls. Using sun-kissed produce, she creates delicious treats with a playful touch of whimsy, including cloud-like cupcakes topped with pineapple flowers.
