Marvel’s “The Punisher: One Last Kill” Disney+ Release Date Announced
Disney has announced a brand new “Special Presentation” featuring Jon Bernthal returning as the vigilante, Frank Castle, aka the Punisher, in a brand new Marvel Television Special Presentation called “The Punisher: One Last Kill”
A new poster for the special was revealed by Jon Bernthal on his social media, along with confirming the date.
Jon reprised his role in the first season of “Daredevil: Born Again”, which debuted on Disney+ last year, and he will also be making the jump to the big screen in the upcoming “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” film, which hits cinemas in July.
Unfortunately, we don’t know too much more about this upcoming special, such as what the plot is or who else will star in it.
“The Punisher: One Last Kill’ will be coming to Disney+ on May 12th 2026, just one week after the season finale of the second season of “Daredevil: Born Again”. The “Punisher” series is also available to stream on Disney+.
This is the third Marvel Special Presentation following “Werewolf By Night” and “Guardians Of The Galaxy: Holiday Special”, which have been released on Disney+.
Roger’s Take: It’s interesting that Marvel is dropping this special in May, but it makes some sense since fans need to see how Frank Castle escapes from the clutches of Wilson Fisk aka The Kingpin, which is where the season finale of “Daredevil: Born Again”, left the character, especially as “The Punisher” is running around fighting crime in the trailer for “Spider-Man: Brand New Day”, so we know he gets out of the cage.
