The BBC has released four new character posters for the upcoming “Doctor Who” holiday specials, which will be coming out this holiday season on BBC in the UK and Ireland, and on Disney+ around the world.

“Doctor Who” is one of the longest-running and most successful programs in television history, Doctor Who boasts an estimated 100 million fans in 54 countries. With high production values, innovative CGI from Oscar-winning company The Mill, an all-star cast and scripts, Doctor Who is the ultimate adventure in the human race – gripping, breathtaking and action-packed.

The four new character posters feature David Tennant and Ncuti Gatwa as the Doctor, along with their assistants, Catherine Tate as Donna and Millie Gibson as Ruby.

The new season will star Millie Gibson as Ruby, who will be the Doctor’s companion, and it will also star Lenny Rush, Bonnie Langford, Indira Varma, Jonathan Groff, Jinkx Monsoon, Jemma Redgrave, Aneurin Barnard, Anita Dobson and Michelle Greenidge.

“Doctor Who” returns in November 2023 with three special episodes with David Tennant as the Fourteenth Doctor to coincide with the 60th anniversary. Ncuti Gatwa’s first episode as the Fifteenth Doctor will air over the festive period.  Filming on the fourteenth season has recently wrapped filming and will be coming out next year.

“Doctor Who” will premiere exclusively on the BBC for the UK and Ireland. Disney+ will be the exclusive home for new seasons of “Doctor Who outside of the UK and Ireland.
