With Disney+ launching in the United Kingdom and Ireland on March 24th, it was announced that the  DisneyLife platform would be closing down on April 23rd.

DisneyLife has now been completely shutdown.  When visiting the official DisneyLife website, it now auto redirects to Disney+.   On its social media accounts it has shared:

DisneyLife is no longer available from 23 April 2020.   Thank you for being a loyal DisneyLife customer.

The app was launched in 2015 and not only included a vast library of Disney movies and shows, it also offered books, games, albums and live streaming of the Disney Channels.  It also offered a 10% discount at Disney Stores and online.

DisneyLife customers won’t be automatically transferred to Disney+, so will need to subscribe to use it.

I’ve personally been using DisneyLife since it launched and while it didn’t have the best track record for regular updates, it did offer lots of extras and the 10% discount would usually pay for itself, especially if you have an addition to Disney collectibles like I do!

Will you miss DisneyLife?
