Disney Wins 6 Golden Globes
The 82nd annual Golden Globes took place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Hollywood on Sunday night and Disney picked up six awards, with its FX and Searchlight Pictures studios.
Disney’s FX made history, breaking its previous record for Golden Globe wins with drama series “Shōgun” and comedy hit “The Bear.” Sweeping all its nominated categories, “Shōgun” was the most-winning series of the night, garnering awards for its lead actors, Hiroyuki Sanada and Anna Sawai and supporting actor Tadanobu Asano. Additionally, Jeremy Allen White secured his third consecutive Best Actor win for his performance in “The Bear”. While Searchlight Pictures picked up one award for its recent drama film, “A Real Pain”.

- Best Television Series – Drama
- Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Drama – Hiroyuki Sanada
- Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Drama – Anna Sawai
- Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role on Television – Tadanobu Asano
The Bear (FX / Hulu / FX Productions)
- Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy – Jeremy Allen White
A Real Pain (Searchlight Pictures)
- Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture – Kieran Culkin
Other winners from the event included “Emilia Pérez”, which picked up the Best Motion Picture Musical or Comedy award, while “The Brutalist” won Best Motion Picture Drama
