Disney Wins 3 Critics’ Choice Awards
This past Sunday evening, the 31st annual Critics’ Choice Awards took place at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, which honours the finest in cinematic and television achievement. The event aired live on E! and USA networks in the United States.
Disney was able to pick up three different awards on the night, including Best Visual Effects, Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series and Best Talk Show.
The biggest winners of the event were “Frankenstein” and “Sinners”, which both picked up four awards, with “One Battle After Another” and “The Pitt” also winning three awards.

Best Visual Effects
- Joe Letteri, Richard Baneham, Eric Saindon, Daniel Barrett – Avatar: Fire and Ash
Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series
- Janelle James – Abbott Elementary
Best Talk Show
- Jimmy Kimmel Live!
“Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and “Abbott Elementary” are available to stream now on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States. “Avatar: Fire & Ash” is currently showing in cinemas and will be coming to Disney+ later this year.
