There are plenty of new original shows and films heading to Disney+ around the world in July 2023, including brand new episodes of the latest Marvel series, “Secret Invasion” and much more.

Here’s a look at the new originals coming to Disney+ in July 2023:


Secret Invasion

In Marvel Studios’ new series “Secret Invasion,” set in the present day MCU, Nick Fury learns of a clandestine invasion of Earth by a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls. Fury joins his allies, including Everett Ross, Maria Hill and the Skrull Talos, who has made a life for himself on Earth. Together they race against time to thwart an imminent Skrull invasion and save humanity.

New episodes coming every Wednesday throughout July


Tomorrow X Together: Our Lost Summer

In 2019, “Tomorrow X Together” made a splash by becoming the first K-pop group to enter the U.S. Billboard 200 chart with their debut album. In “Tomorrow X Together: Our Lost Summer”, viewers get to see band members SOOBIN, YEONJUN, BEOMGYU, TAEHYUN, and HUENINGKAI reunite in preparation for their international tour. With nerves at an all-time high and pressure to deliver the performance of a lifetime, how will the group handle themselves on some of the world’s biggest stages, including Lollapalooza?


Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire

Featuring stories from creators hailing from Egypt, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda and Zimbabwe, “Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire” promises to take viewers on an unforgettable ride into Africa’s future, presenting visions of the continent as never before seen.

The action-packed animated anthology draws on the continent’s rich and diverse histories and cultures to present 10 sci-fi and fantasy stories featuring bold and brave new worlds of advanced technology, aliens, spirits, and monsters.

All ten shorts will arrive on Disney+ on Wednesday 5th July 2023.


The Slumber Party

“The Slumber Party” depicts the hilarious aftermath of a sleepover birthday party hypnotism gone wrong as best friends Megan and Paige, along with soon-to-be step-sister Veronica, wake up with absolutely no memory of the night before. Now they must retrace their steps to find missing birthday girl Anna Maria and explain why there’s a flock of baby ducks in the bathtub, what happened to Megan’s eyebrow, and why she’s wearing unattainable hottie Jake Ramirez’s signature black hoodie.

This all new original film is coming to Disney+ in the US on Friday 28th July 2023.


The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse: Steamboat Silly

The beloved Emmy Award-winning “The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse” shorts culminate with a final episode titled “Steamboat Silly,” which follows Mickey Mouse and his friends as they must stop hundreds of old film reel versions of Mickey from wreaking havoc all over town. The short will debut July 28 on Disney+ as part of Disney’s 100-year anniversary celebration.

This all new short is coming to Disney+ on July 28th 2023.


Yuzuru Hanyu Ice Story 2023 “Gift” at Tokyo Dome

The first-ever solo ice show at Tokyo Dome, “GIFT,” is a story that self-portrays Yuzuru Hanyu’s life and future on the ice. This piece is produced by professional skater Yuzuru Hanyu, and directed by MIKIKO, who is known for using the latest technology stage production.

This Japanese original is coming to Disney+ on Friday, 14th July 2023.

The Bear – Season 2

Season two follows Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White), Sydney Adamu (Ayo Edebiri) and Richard “Richie” Jerimovich (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as they work to transform their grimy sandwich joint into a next-level spot. As they strip the restaurant down to its bones, the crew undertakes transformational journeys of their own, each forced to confront the past and reckon with who they want to be in the future.

The second season of “The Bear” arrives on Disney+ in many countries including the UK, Canada and Australia on Wednesday, 19th July 2023.


Drag Me To Dinner

If you want a great party, hire a party planner. If you want an outrageous, unforgettable party … call in a Drag Queen. Drag Me to Dinner is the new close-ended comedic competition that, unlike other Drag competitions, doesn’t take itself too seriously. In each hour-long episode, two new pairs of Queens go wig-to-wig in themed culinary and design challenges, attempting to throw the most fabulous dinner party yet.

This new series is arriving on Disney+ in many countries including the UK and Canada on Wednesday, 26th July 2023


How I Met Your Father – Season 2 – New Episodes

In the near future, Sophie is telling her son the story of how she met his father: a story that catapults us back to the present where Sophie and her close-knit group of friends are in the midst of figuring out who they are, what they want out of life, and how to fall in love in the age of dating apps and limitless options.

The remaining episodes of the second season will arrive on Disney+ in the UK on Wednesday, 26th July 2023, with new episodes also being released on Tuesdays in Canada.


The Kardashians – Season 3

The cameras return as Kris, Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, Kendall and Kylie invite viewers back into their lives as they navigate motherhood, coparenting, and building their own empires. Their bond will be tested and tensions arise, but as a family they will stand together through the storm.

New episodes are being released on Disney+ internationally every Thursday throughout July


The Company You Keep

A night of passion leads to love between con man Charlie and undercover CIA officer Emma, who are unknowingly on a collision course professionally. While Charlie ramps up the family business with sights set on getting out for good, Emma works to close in on the vengeful criminal who holds Charlie’s family debts in hand — forcing them to reckon with the lies they’ve told so they can save themselves and their families from disastrous consequences. The series is based on the Korean Broadcasting System series entitled “My Fellow Citizens.”

This new series is arriving on Disney+ in the UK and Ireland on Wednesday, 12th July 2023


Futurama – New Season

The series follows Philip J. Fry (Billy West), a New York City pizza delivery boy, who accidentally freezes himself in 1999 and gets defrosted in the year 3000. In this astonishing New New York, he befriends hard-drinking robot Bender (John DiMaggio), and falls in love with cyclops Leela (Katey Sagal). The trio find work at the Planet Express Delivery Company, founded by Fry’s doddering descendant, Professor Hubert Farnsworth. Together with accountant Hermes Conrad, assistant Amy Wong, and alien lobster Dr. John Zoidberg, they embark on thrilling adventures that take them to every corner of the universe.

This all-new series debuts on Disney+ around the world on Monday, 24th July 2023


Justified: City Primeval

Having left the hollers of Kentucky 15 years ago, Raylan Givens now lives in Miami, a walking anachronism balancing his life as a U.S. Marshal and part-time father of a 15-year-old girl. His hair is grayer, his hat is dirtier, and the road in front of him is suddenly a lot shorter than the road behind. A chance encounter on a desolate Florida highway sends him to Detroit. There he crosses paths with Clement Mansell, aka The Oklahoma Wildman, a violent, sociopathic desperado who’s already slipped through the fingers of Detroit’s finest once and aims to do so again. Mansell’s lawyer, formidable Motor City native Carolyn Wilder, has every intention of representing her client, even as she finds herself caught in between cop and criminal, with her own game afoot as well. These three characters set out on a collision course in classic Elmore Leonard fashion, to see who makes it out of the City Primeval alive.

This new series arrives on Disney+ in Australia and New Zealand from July 19th 2023.


Imagine Dragons Live In Vegas

Far from the days of playing in dive bars and casinos across the Las Vegas Strip, Imagine Dragons returns home to perform at the city’s largest stage, Allegiant Stadium, in a triumphant concert film that showcases the band’s rise to fame and the city that helped shape their sound.

This new original is coming to Disney+ in July, though the release dates may vary between countries. It will be available on Hulu in the US.
