Disney has released a new teaser trailer for the upcoming Japanese original animated series, “Cat’s Eye”, which is based on the popular Weekly Shonen Jump manga comic that debuted back in 1981.

The series tells the story of a trio of sisters who run the Cat’s Eye cafe in Tokyo, but moonlight as notorious art thieves. Despite battling shady criminals and even Hitomi being engaged to a police officer, the gang usually get away with the goods – and leave their iconic ‘Cat’s Eye’ calling card as proof of their visit.

“Cat’s Eye” stars Mikako Komatsu, Ami Koshimizu, and Yumiri Hanamori, who will play the trio of sisters, with Takuya Sato playing the role of Toshio Utsumi, who is Hitomi’s love interest.

This new original animated series will be coming to Disney+ around the world in September.
