The nominations for the 2023 BAFTA Television Awards and BAFTA Television Craft Awards, have been announced, with many Disney picking up multiple nods.

FX’s “The Bear” and the French Disney+ Original series, “Oussekine”, have been nominated for a BAFTA in the International category.   Fiona Shaw was nominated in the Best Supporting Actress for her role in the Disney+ Original series, “Star Wars: Andor”.

Matt Berry has also been nominated for his role in FX’s “What We Do In The Shadows” in the Best Male Performance In A Comedy Programme.

And Anthony Dod Mantle has been nominated for the Best Photography & Lighting category for his work on the FX series, “Pistol”.   The series was also nominated in the Best Production Design category.

“Pistol”, “What We Do In The Shadows”, “Oussekine”, and “The Bear” are all available to stream now on Disney+ in many countries around the world, including in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Canada.  While in the United States, they are available on Hulu.  “Star Wars: Andor” is available to stream globally on Disney+.

The BAFTA Television Awards, hosted by Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan, take place on Sunday, 14th May 2023. The BAFTA Television Craft Awards take place on Sunday, 23rd April 2023.
