“Disney Insider” is back giving Disney fans a behind the scenes look at some of the projects going on at the company. In this episode, the Disney+ Original series gives us three featurettes looking at how Disney ornaments are made and how they are sketched, a closer look at Disney’s Society of Explorers and Adventurers and we get to meet the creators of “Big City Greens” as they work on the newest season of the show.

My favorite of these featurettes was the one focused on the ornaments. I love Disney and I love seeing the process that goes into Disney ornaments. The segment shows us how the ornaments go from sketches to 3D sculptures and the final design. This segment makes me want to go out and buy more Disney ornaments for my own tree.

The one that I was least interested in when I saw the list was the behind the scenes look at “Big City Greens.” But, I came away from this featurette with a new appreciation for the show. I haven’t really watched the show. My son has watched it and I caught some episodes with him. I enjoyed it when I saw it, but didn’t care to watch it on my own. But, I appreciate the work the creators have put into it. And, this featurette makes me willing to give it a try.

The Disney S.E.A featurette was the one I didn’t know what to expect. At first, I thought it was going to be solely about the Tokyo DisneySea park. However, I learned more about the Society of Explorers and Adventurers, which I have to admit is a really cool name. It was also cool to see how they showed appreciation for some of the characters created for Disney.

This wasn’t my favorite episode of the “Disney Insider” but I did come away with a better appreciation of everything involved in this episode. I learned a lot and hope to learn a lot more from this series.
