Disney Hosts “Mid-Century Modern” World Premiere In Hollywood
Just ahead of the release of the new original comedy series, “Mid-Century Modern”, Disney hosted a special premiere event at DGA in Los Angeles on Tuesday evening.
“Mid-Century Modern” follows three best friends — gay gentlemen of a certain age – who, after an unexpected death, decide to spend their golden years living together in Palm Springs where the wealthiest one lives with his mother. As a chosen family, they prove that no matter how hard things get, there’s always someone around to remind you it would be better if you got your neck done.
The event was attended by the stars of the show, Nathan Lane, Matt Bomer, and Nathan Lee Graham, along with the show’s creators Max Mutchnick, David Kohan, and the director James Burrows. Also attending the premiere event was Richard Kind, Billie Lourd, Esther Moon, Jaime Moyer, Cheri Oteri, and Renan Pacheco. Additional talent included Max Greenfield, Cheyenne Jackson, William Stanford Davis, Caroline Rhea, Marsha Thomason, Andrew Rannells, Kate Flannery, and more.

The series is from executive producers Max Mutchnick & David Kohan and executive producer Ryan Murphy. Stars Nathan Lane and Matt Bomer also executive produce the series, along with James Burrows, who also serves as director. 20th Television is the studio.
The entire series will be released on Friday 28th March 2025 on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ internationally.
