The Walt Disney Company has announced the next date for its investor call, where the executives will discuss the fiscal fourth-quarter 2023 financial results.

During the quarterly investors’ call, we will receive an update on the latest subscription numbers for Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+.  It’s also common for small bits of information regarding the business side of Disney+ to be revealed.

The Walt Disney Company (NYSE: DIS) will discuss fiscal first quarter 2024 financial results via a live audio Q&A webcast beginning at 8:30 a.m. ET / 5:30 a.m. PT on Wednesday, 7th August 2024.

Disney has made some changes to how it reports its quarterly results, as it will now take place before Wall Street opens, rather than at the end of the day.

With the next quarterly results, during the Q&A session, we will hopefully find out more details on Disney’s purchase of Hulu from Comcast, an update on the deal with Hotstar in India and the upcoming Max/ESPN bundles with Disney+.

It’s also worth noting that the quarterly results call will be taking place just days before the start of D23: The Ultimate Fan Event, which means any major movie or show news will likely be held back for that event, where Disney has sold out the Honda Center for major showcases for its entertainment and theme park divisions.
