The Walt Disney Company has announced the next date for its investor call, where the executives will discuss the fiscal third-quarter 2023 financial results.

During the quarterly investor’s call, we will be provided with an update on the latest subscription numbers for Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+.  It’s also common for small bits of information regarding the business side of Disney+ are also revealed.  For example, at the last quarterly results, we found out that Disney+ had continued to lose subscribers in India following the loss of the Indian Premier League Cricket sports rights and that Disney would be cutting back on how many originals it would be making for its streaming services.   But even worse, that Disney would write off nearly $2 billion dollars of original content, which resulted in the removal of shows like “Willow” and “Big Shot” from Disney+.

With the next quarterly results, it’s likely we will find out more details on the upcoming one-app experience, which will see Hulu content added in to Disney+ in the United States.

The Walt Disney Company (NYSE: DIS) will discuss fiscal third quarter 2023 financial results via a live audio webcast beginning at 4:30 p.m. ET / 1:30 p.m. PT on Wednesday, 9th August, 2023.  As per usual, the company’s results will be released after the close of regular trading on August 9th, 2023.

To listen to the webcast on the day, the audio-only investor call will be streamed at www.disney.com/investors.
