To tie in with the release of the new “Doctor Who” Christmas special, “The Church on Ruby Road”, a brand new “Doctor Who” collection has been added to Disney+ around the world.

Disney has teamed up with the BBC to bring brand new specials to Disney+ outside the UK and Ireland.  The new specials have introduced a brand new Doctor, played by Ncuti Gatwa, who will be returning with a brand new season in May 2024.

This long-running series tells the story of The Doctor, a mysterious 2,000-year-old time traveller, and his companions’ journey across time and space in a ship known as TARDIS.   The series debuted in the 1960s and has just celebrated its 60th anniversary.

The new collection includes four “Doctor Who” specials:

• Doctor Who: The Star Beast
• Doctor Who: Wild Blue Yonder
• Doctor Who: The Giggle
• Doctor Who: The Church On Ruby Road

Unfortunately for Disney+ subscribers in the UK and Ireland, the collection is currently showing as available, but this looks to be an error since none of the four “Doctor Who” specials are actually available due to them being available on the BBC.

Expect the “Doctor Who” collection to be expanded with the new season in May, along with any other specials they add in the future, such as next year’s Christmas special.

The new “Doctor Who” collection can be found within the All Collections section within the Search tab on Disney+.
