With the holidays over, Hollywood is ramping up for a busy year of filming, and one of the shows set to resume very soon is the Disney+ Original series, “Daredevil Born Again”.

This new series was initially announced at the San Diego Comic-Con in 2022 and was initially announced to be eighteen episodes and coming out in 2024. However, both of those details are likely to change.

Filming on the show had started last summer, but production was put on hold due to the actor’s and writer’s strikes.  During this shutdown, the executives looked at what had already been filmed and decided to do something drastic, removing the writers and the director and bringing in a new creative team, which includes “Moon Knight” directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead.   The new showrunner will try to use as much footage that’s already been filmed as possible, but still making changes and shooting new episodes.

Recently, Kingpin actor Vincent D’Onofrio spoke with ComicBook.com to promote “Echo” and revealed that filming is set to resume pretty soon.

“We’re days away from restarting Daredevil, so that’s that’s we’re about to plunge into a lot of work,”

Vincent also confirmed that the series is going to be filmed on location in many places across New York City:

“We’re shooting in New York, in the studio and on locations here. Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Chelsea. Stuff like that.”

And it sounds like both Vincent and Charlie Cox, who is returning as Daredevil, are excited to get filming again:

“We’re pretty excited. These scripts are great. We’ve got two great directors.  Charlie [Cox] and I, we talk. We speak every day, and are working on stuff every day. I feel like I am excited, like when you’re about to start a new job that you know is going to be tons of work. You know, so you’re like, super excited, and like, ‘Oh here we go. Here we go.'”

One of the big changes to the new series, is during the creative reshuffle, it was decided that they would embrace the former Netflix Original shows that were created by ABC Signature Studios and make them canon to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.  Which means they can use those shows
