After the success of the last season of “Dancing with the Stars,” which saw “American Chavez” actor Xochitl Gomez lift the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy, Disney has confirmed that the show will return for a thirty-third season.

Hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough, the hit series pairs celebrities with trained ballroom dancers to compete in themed choreographed dance routines that are judged by a panel of renowned ballroom experts, including Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough.

“Dancing With The Stars” was the first series to simulcast across both ABC and Disney+, and for the upcoming season, it will continue to be live-streamed on both ABC and Disney+ in the United States, with new episodes available the next day on Hulu.

BBC Studios Los Angeles Productions produces the show in front of a live audience. No release date has been announced for the upcoming new season. We probably won’t hear too much information on who will star in the next season until the show’s return, which is usually in September.

The most recent seasons are available to stream now on Disney+ in the United States and Canada.

Roger’s POV:  With “Dancing With The Stars” returning back to ABC last season, it makes complete sense to continue live-streaming the show on Disney+ and providing Disney+ with new original content while also making the most of sharing it across multiple platforms to reach as many viewers as possible.   The only question now is who’s going to be starring in it?
