“Dancing With The Stars” Daniella Karagach Tests Positive For Covid
The second live episode of “Dancing With The Stars” airs on Disney+ today in the United States and Canada, with an “Elvis” theme.
“Dancing with the Stars” is the hit series hosted by supermodel and businesswoman Tyra Banks and actor and television personality Alfonso Ribeiro in which celebrities are paired with trained ballroom dancers to compete in themed choreographed dance routines that are judged by a panel of renowned ballroom experts, including Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough.
Unfortunately, Daniella Karagach has tested positive for Covid and will miss tonight’s performance. Her celebrity partner, Joseph Baena (who is the son of Arnold Schwarzenegger), will now team with dance troupe member Alexis Warr. Also, anyone who was in close contact with Karagach will be masked during tonight’s show on Disney+.
In a statement from Disney,
Unfortunately, Daniella Karagach tested positive overnight for Covid. She is completely asymptomatic and is self-quarantining. Everyone who has been in close contact with her has tested negative.
Daniella Karagach is married to professional dancer, Pasha Pashkov, who is paired with Teresa Giudice on this season.
Last week, it was also reported that there was a Covid outbreak among the crew of the show, with four people testing positive. Those in close contact with the four positive production employees has since tested positive were notified.
After an impressive 30 seasons on ABC, “Dancing with the Stars” has moved to its new home on Disney+, premiering exclusively in the U.S. and Canada this fall, and making “Dancing with the Stars” the first live series to debut on the streaming service.

The first episode of the latest season of “Dancing With The Stars” is available to stream now on Disney+, and the second episode airs 8 pm Eastern/5 pm Pacific live on Disney+.
