During today’s Destination D23 event in Disney’s Contemporary Resort at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, Disney announced details on next year’s D23 Expo, which is going to be called the Disney Ultimate Fan Experience and is taking place in Anaheim, California from August 9th to 11th, 2024.

Next year’s one-of-a-kind experience will have spectacular shows, new venues and multiple days of entertainment that brings together the wonderful world of Disney. That’s everything, including Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and much, much more.

The D23 kickoff celebration will take place at Disneyland Resort on August 8th followed by shopping, exhibits, panels, presentations, and more on August 9th – 11 at the Anaheim Convention Center during the day, with the fun extending into the evening at the Honda Center—the bigger home to marquee shows like the major panel presentations that reveal new films and shows.  Each evening, the major presentations will be taking place in the Honda Center, so more people can enjoy the major shows, since the building has a capacity of over 18,000.  At last year’s event, we got to see sneak peeks at many upcoming Disney movies and shows, so this will be a major event for 2024.

In addition, there will also be a special D23 Day at Angel Stadium, where D23 fans are invited to attend the Los Angeles Angels vs. New York Mets game on August 4th.

Tickets for D23 will go on sale in Spring 2024, with ticketing options to be announced later for access to the Anaheim Convention Center and the Honda Center. Admission for D23 Day at Angel Stadium and the D23 kickoff celebration at Disneyland Resort will be available as separate ticketed events.
