Disney has released the latest Marvel Studios movie, “Captain America: Brave New World” on digital platforms including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home, to purchase and rent, following its theatrical run of 60 days exclusively in cinemas.

In this new movie, Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) – who now wields the shield of Captain America after events in “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” – meets with newly elected U.S. president Thaddeus Ross (Harrison Ford) and soon finds himself in the middle of an international incident. In a race against time, Sam must discover the reason behind a nefarious global plot before the true mastermind has the entire world seeing red.

The digital release also includes many bonus features:

  • Deleted Scene: A Heartfelt Thanks
  • Deleted Scene: The Mission
  • Deleted Scene: Stick Around
  • Assuming the Mantle
  • Old Scores, New Scars
  • Gag Reel
  • Audio Commentary

The film will be released on physical media, including 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on May 13th 2025.    As with other major new movie releases, it’s likely we will see “Captain America: Brave New World” arrive on Disney+ around the same time as the physical media release window.
