Brooks Nader & Her Sisters to Star in Hulu Reality Series “Love Thy Nader”
Disney has had great success with its recent reality series, such as “The Kardashians” and “The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives.” The next docu-series to hit our screens is called “Love Thy Nader”, which will follow Brooks Nader and her Sarah Jane, Grace Ann and Mary Holland in New York City.
Brooks is a Sports Illustrated model and has previously been a contestant on the hit ABC competition series, “Dancing with the Stars”
The show is described as a “coming-of-age docuseries” that “follows the unapologetic and determined Nader sisters.” The four siblings moved from their native Louisiana to New York City, where they have embarked on careers in the modelling world.
“Brooks’ breakout success has led them into the high-stakes world of modelling, the social scene of Manhattan’s elite and opened the door to a whirlwind of attention in their romantic lives. Set against the backdrop of SoHo lofts, fashion campaigns and skyscraper dreams, Love Thy Nader explores the ultimate question of what it really means to ‘make it.’ In a city where one can burn bright or go up in flames, sometimes the only thing truly needed is a sister who has your back.
The series is produced by Walt Disney Television Alternative in association with Jimmy Kimmel’s production company, Kimmelot and Smoking Baby Productions. Rachel Tung serves as executive producer and showrunner, and Kimmel, James “Baby Doll” Dixon and Brandon Panaligan also serve as executive producers.
The upcoming series will be released on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ internationally. The show will also air on the Freeform linear channel.
Roger’s Take: Disney has been on a roll with its reality series, and while I’ll be honest in saying I’ve never heard of Brooks before, the decision to make a series about her and her family must have been made because they are interesting characters with a unique lifestyle to capture people’s attention.
