Disney+ subscribers in the United Kingdom and Ireland have plenty of great new series to enjoy, including “Ms Marvel”, “Only Murders In The Building”, “The Orville” and some brand new shows such as “Under The Banner Of Heaven” and much more.

Here’s the rundown:

Ms Marvel

Marvel Studios’ “Ms. Marvel” is a new, original series that introduces Kamala Khan, a Muslim American teenager growing up in Jersey City. An avid gamer and a voracious fan-fiction scribe, Kamala is a Super Hero mega fan with an oversized imagination—particularly when it comes to Captain Marvel. Yet Kamala feels like she doesn’t fit in at school and sometimes even at home—that is, until she gets super powers like the heroes she’s always looked up to. Life gets better with super powers, right?

New episodes are being released every Wednesday in July.


Solar Opposites – Season 3

Co-created by Justin Roiland (“Rick & Morty”) and Mike McMahan (“Rick & Morty”, “Star Trek: Lower Decks”), “Solar Opposites” centers around a team of four aliens who are evenly split on whether Earth is awful or awesome. Korvo (Justin Roiland) and Yumyulack (Sean Giambrone) only see the pollution, crass consumerism, and human frailty while Terry (Thomas Middleditch) and Jesse (Mary Mack) love TV, junk food and fun stuff. In season three, this alien team strives to be less of a team and more of a family team.

The entire third season of “Solar Opposites” will be released on Disney+ on Wednesday 13th July 2022


Under The Banner Of Heaven

FX’s “Under the Banner of Heaven,” inspired by the true crime bestseller by Jon Krakauer, follows the events that led to the 1984 murder of Brenda Wright Lafferty (Daisy Edgar-Jones) and her baby daughter in a suburb in the Salt Lake Valley, Utah. As Detective Jeb Pyre (Andrew Garfield) investigates events that transpired within the Lafferty family, he uncovers buried truths about the origins of the LDS religion and the violent consequences of unyielding faith. What Pyre, a devout Mormon, unearths leads him to question his own faith.

The entire series will be released on Disney+ in the UK and Ireland on Wednesday 27th July 2022. While in Canada, Australia and New Zealand, episodes are being released weekly on Wednesday’s in July.


High School Musical: The Musical: The Series – Season 3

Season three of “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” is set at Camp Shallow Lake, a sleepaway camp in California, as the Wildcats and their fellow campers are primed for an unforgettable summer ripe with romance, curfew-less nights and a taste of the great outdoors. With a high-stakes production of “Frozen” on the horizon AND a drama-filled “docu-series” of the production in the works, the Wildcats will attempt to show who is “best in snow” without leaving anyone out in the cold.

The first episode from the third season arrives on Disney+ on Wednesday 27th July 2022.


Light & Magic

Learn what inspired some of the most legendary filmmakers in Hollywood history, and follow their stories from their earliest personal films to bringing George Lucas’ vision to life.

“Light & Magic” arrives on Disney+ on Wednesday 27th July 2022.


Only Murders In The Building – Season 2

Following the shocking death of Arconia Board President Bunny Folger, Charles (Steve Martin, “Father Of The Bride”), Oliver (Martin Short, “The Morning Show”) & Mabel (Selena Gomez, “The Dead Don’t Die”), race to unmask her killer. However, three (unfortunate) complications ensue – the trio is publicly implicated in Bunny’s homicide, they are now the subjects of a competing podcast, and they have to deal with a bunch of New York neighbors who all think they committed murder.

New episodes will be released on Disney+ every Tuesday in July


9-1-1 Lone Star

Captain Stand, a firefighter from New York, moves to Austin, Texas, where he must help people and perform his duties diligently while trying to deal with his own problems.

New episodes will be released on Disney+ every Wednesday throughout July.

America The Beautiful

This documentary series is narrated by Michael B. Jordan and is the jaw-dropping story of our homeland and its amazing animals. North America is the most diverse and extreme continent on Earth. The only place where you can find every landscape, from Arctic icecap to baking desert and everything in-between. We take a journey through America’s most spectacular regions – the mountainous Northwest, the steamy South, the arid West and the endless Heartland. Whatever the neighborhood, there’s a hero who can make it a home. Smart, tough, brave, you name it, the animals of North America have what it takes to overcome the elements and thrive. In our closing episode, we meet the human heroes fighting to preserve our wildlife and wild places for future generations.

The Orville: New Horizons

Seth MacFarlane’s epic space adventure series “The Orville” returns exclusively as a Hulu original series. Set 400 years in the future, “The Orville: New Horizons” finds the crew of the U.S.S. Orville continuing their mission of exploration, as they navigate both the mysteries of the universe and the complexities of their own interpersonal relationships.

New episodes are being released every Thursday throughout July.


Big Sky – Season 2

Cassie Dewell and Jenny Hoyt reunite to unravel a mysterious car wreck as their worlds collide with unsuspecting teens, a face from Jenny’s past, and a vicious outsider.

New episodes will be released on Disney+ every Wednesday in July


Promised Land

Two Latinx families vie for wealth and power in California’s Sonoma Valley.

This ABC series will arrive on Disney+ in the UK and Ireland on Wednesday 6th July 2022


The Incredible Dr. Pol

Dr Jan Pol has been a practicing veterinarian for more than half his life. In 1981 he and his wife, Diane, opened a vet business out of their home, and over the years it has grown to service more than 19,000 clients. Set in Central Michigan’s farm country, this reality series follows Dr Pol and the work done at Pol Veterinary Services. Specializing in large farm animals, Dr Pol treats horses, pigs, cows, sheep, alpacas, goats, chickens and even an occasional reindeer. The program also features Dr Brenda Grettenberger, who has worked with Dr Pol since 1992.

Seasons 14, 15 and 16 will be coming to Disney+ on Wednesday 6th August 2022

Policemen, paramedics and firefighters put themselves in dangerous situations to save people’s lives. Meanwhile, they also have to deal with their personal problems.

The Wonder Years S1 batch 2 (E14-22)

The coming-of-age story of a 12-year-old Black boy in Montgomery, Ala., in the late 1960s, as told by his adult self.

The second batch of new episodes will arrive on Disney+ on Wednesday 20th July 2022.
